"Asháninka Artisans Association
Anaro means "power of water" in the Asháninka language. Founded in 2011 in the native community of Anaro (Kimbiri, Cusco - Peru) and formally established as a brand in 2021, our association brings together more than 20 Indigenous artisans who keep alive the ancestral knowledge of the Asháninka people.
We offer those who receive our pieces a direct social, environmental, and cultural impact: dignified work for single mothers, community involvement, the use of natural forest materials, and reforestation.
Asháninka without nature is not Asháninka.
