Bio:

Athena’s passion for sewing was nurtured through generations of family tradition. She learned to sew from her mother, who was taught by her own mother, continuing a legacy of creativity and craftsmanship passed down through the women in her family. From an early age, Athena was taught that her family has always been called to create, and that their hands are a blessing. One of the most meaningful teachings she carries into every piece she makes is to create with love and care, believing that the energy and intention invested in each creation are passed on to the person who receives it.

Her love for sewing began while helping her mother create her first traditional Navajo attire. Today, Athena is passionate about sharing her culture through her work, blending traditional teachings with contemporary design to create modern Native clothing that celebrates Indigenous identity while honoring her Diné heritage.
