Rita is a multidisciplinary cultural artist whose work centers on ancestral medicine, sacred crafting, and community healing. As co-founder of Casa de Aya Mesa, she creates offerings that blend traditional practices with contemporary artistry — including hand-woven dreamcatchers, cleansing bundles, herbal remedies, spirit tools, and ceremonial crafts.

Her creative path honors the teachings of her lineage while respecting the diverse Indigenous traditions that have shaped her. Rita holds space for community through ceremony, prayer work, and cultural arts that celebrate protection, balance, connection, and spiritual grounding.
